Summer Rush was a reality docu-series that aired on Food Network in 2020. It followed three families from the same extended family, each running a competing restaurant in Lake George, New York. With only a few months to generate a year’s income, they faced intense pressure, fierce competition, and the challenge of balancing business and family.

We cast and developed this show, searching for a high-stakes seasonal business where competition was real and success was uncertain. This family-owned restaurant empire stood out—three businesses, one family, and a single summer to make it work. With bold personalities, intense rivalries, and the urgency of a make-or-break season, we knew we had something special!
