Surrounded is a viral YouTube debate series created by Jubilee Media. Each episode places one prominent public figure or expert at the center of a circle, surrounded by 20 to 25 everyday people who hold opposing political or social views.

This is a fast paced, tightly constrained casting process for a true social experiment. We were looking for people with real knowledge of their subject who could make an impact and hold attention, not just strong debaters with strong opinions but people genuinely passionate about their position. 

It came down to quality and quantity at the same time, with every interview resting on our read of personality, topic knowledge and passion, and the whole process time managed to hit the turnaround on each filming block.
